Oh my goodness, I seriously thought that it was someone I briefly dated for a second, since he's also from the northern/NJ border Staten Island area. That would have been awkward. (It's not him!)

Prince Andrew’s daughter Princess Bea’s royal wedding hat looks like ... it should. Ridiculous and clownish... just like the whole 'royal wedding' nonsense. Is what's her name even a princess? If not - then how is this even a 'royal' wedding? And really... why does anyone even care? It's not like these people are important or anything. The monarchy and the royalty were important because they had power... they ran things. Now they're nothing but figureheads... a distraction from the outrageous usury, taxation and the destruction of the value of our money. And the crowd cheers... †IC XC† †NI KA†

If I were at the Agia Sophia, I probably couldn't resist the urge to, unobtrusively, sneak into a corner and plant just the tiniest icon there, using a piece of double-sided tape. And then very quietly run out of there.

I hope this isn't in bad taste (I found it cute)! Child's homework: Mother's letter to teacher:Dear Mrs. Jackson, I wish to clarify that I am not now, nor have I ever been, an exotic dancer. I work at Bunnings and I told my daughter how hectic it was last week after the floods hit. I told her we sold out every single shovel we had and then I found one more in stock and several people were fighting over who would get it. Her picture doesn't show me dancing around a pole. It's supposed to depict me selling the last shovel we had in the store. From now on I will remember to check her homework before she hands it in. Sincerely, Erica Cameron

Modern Cossack family in Volgograd, Russia. Can anybody tell what icons they're holding? I can't really see. The one on the woman is too small but the little boy looks like he has St. Alexander Nevskiy. Or St. Nicholas (Romanov).

I've seen St. Nicholas and St. Alexander both holding those little mace things in different icons.

It's so weird....I actually WATCHED the show, but I can't remember any of it. Ug Lee rang a bell, though. I think I'm the only person on earth who doesn't remember the specific episodes of TV shows that I watched as a child. My husband and friends will recite entire Smurf, GI Joe, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Goosebumps episodes from memory if you prompt them. I CAN'T DO THAT. (But I can recite entire sentences from the books that I read as a child. Ha! )

Michał Kalina,The detective in me wonders, 'What's going on here?' Also, something else I noticed... Above your icon you provide a link to the Church you're attending... On that page, I found the following beside an icon similar to the one you're using here: Patron feast in Orthodox Pastoral Point We invite you to worship the patron saint of the Orthodox Pastoral Point - St. Gregory (Peradze).

I don't believe anyone should be worshiping any Saints at all. Contrary to the oft-seen distinction between "worship" and "veneration" the word "worship" is broad enough that it could simply mean veneration or honor. If you read a lot of early modern English literature, you'll see it used in this sense very often. Also, some modern liturgical texts still use it this way. For instance, in the Jordanville Prayer Book, the Troparion of the Sunday of Orthodoxy reads "We worship Thine immaculate icon..."

Michał Kalina,
The detective in me wonders, 'What's going on here?' Moderators are able to see users that are online even if they hide it. I erased their names. Above your icon you provide a link to the Church you're attending... On that page, I found the following beside an icon similar to the one you're using here: There is no distinction between 'venerate' and 'worship' in Polish. I suppose it was written like that because of this.
