People have never been sane.  There are just different kinds of crazy.

Procession from my area in 1930'. Notice the lack of headscarves. People used to be more sane back then.

I was joking because Michal, in usual fashion, thinks its more sane to not wear a headscarf. Alpo pointed out that they had long skirts, and I was repeating Michal's comment but in reference to the long skirts. Sorry.  Undecided

Saw this on Facebook just now:   Am I seeing "hearts" in the design?  I wonder how long that design has been used.

After the feeding of the four thousand we read in Matthiew 15:

And he sent away the multitude, and took ship, and came into the coasts of Magdala. Matt 15:39

Magala was the home of Mary Magdalene and recently archaeologists discovered there a Synagogue from the time of Jesus. This stone which probably served as a table to set the scroll of the Torah was found in the excavation.
This could be the Synagogue where Mary worshipped.

Presentation of a book about Antychowicze family from Bielsk Podlaski. A representative of 10th generation described within it reviews it. She's also a daughter of my parish's choir conductor (in the red dress).

Love the stained glass, it's very rare that it's done well in America. That, however, is very nice.

They were used as templates for actual stained glass somewhere else. Someone just didn't want to throw them away after they had been used.

Actually these are drawings (or something like that) that imitate stained glass.

I was going to say . . . Even if it were stained glass, I have no idea by what determination that would be considered "well done" given the size of the "glass".
