Saw this on Twitter while I was reading comments about the Monday Night Football game, thought some of you would find it helpful:

Yes, sometimes it sounds quite ironic...
- Вы говорите, они вам угрожали?
- Да, сказали "сюда иди".
- Ну, "иди сюда" - это не угроза.
- "Иди сюда" - нет, а "сюда иди" - очень даже.

Researchers Used the Shroud of Turin to Create a 3-D Model of Jesus
https://relevantmagazine.com/culture/researchers-used-shroud-turin-create-3-d-model-jesus/

The Hungarian Pray Manuscript, prepared at the Boldva Monastery (1175-1285) in Hungary

Quote
In 1978 historian Ian Wilson pointed out that the Pray Manuscript was one of a small number of 11-12th century deposition scenes (i.e. depictions of Christ's descent from the cross), that were strongly reminiscent of the Shroud of Turin in that they depicted the dead Christ being laid onto a large, double-length piece of linen intended to envelope His body over his head, with His hands crossed in front, right hand over the left, as on the Shroud. [28] [30] [33]

Deposition fresco in Chapel of the Holy Sepulchre, Winchester Cathedral, 12th century

One of those deposition scenes cited by Wilson is a fresco in the Chapel of the Holy Sepulchre, Winchester Cathedral. The lowest scene depicts Jesus about to have His arms crossed and enfolded in a double-length shroud over His head. This clearly is based on the Shroud of Turin, but the fresco is even earlier than the Pray Manuscript, having been commissioned by Henri of Blois (1101–1171), when he was Bishop of Winchester between 1129–1171.

How about a set of places from famous events in the Gospels?

Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem

Jesus' baptismal site in the Jordan (a few different theorized locations)

Peter's House in Capernaum

Mount Tabor, traditional site of the Transfiguration

A theorized site of the Transfiguration

Pool of Siloam

The Temple (had events like Jesus walking there at the Feast of Hanukkah and chasing out the moneylenders)

Pool of Bethesda

Path of the Via Dolorosa

Church of the Holy Sepulchre

Mount of Olives

I just returned from the Holy Land.... and saw all but one of these sites.
Truly amazing.

'Evil isn't the real threat to the world. Stupid is just as destructive as evil, maybe more so, and it's a hell of a lot more common. What we really need is a crusade against stupid. That might actually make a difference.'~Harry Dresden
