Who's blog is that from?

It's from a wiki list of non-fiction sub-genres. Not sure why I thought it odd/funny. *shrugs* I was trying to figure out how to find more stories along the lines of the TNG episode where aliens 'seeded' the galaxy ('directed panspermia'); still digging tonight... have about 16 tabs open atm

I'm guessing you've seen this? http://www.sf-encyclopedia.com/entry/panspermia
Christ my God, set my heart on fire with love in You, that in its flame I may love You with all my heart, with all my mind, and with all my soul and with all my strength, and my neighbor as myself, so that by keeping Your commandments I may glorify You the Giver of every good and perfect gift. Amen.

Btw, note to mods, there's a bit of saucy language in the link. Sorry that I didn't mention that initially.

If someone comes up with an episode along the line "attack of the giant Water Bears" and it succeeds, it might promote more research funding on Tardigrades.
If you cannot remember everything, instead of everything, I beg you, remember this without fail, that not to share our own wealth with the poor is theft from the poor and deprivation of their means of life; we do not possess our own wealth but theirs.  If we have this attitude, we will certainly offer our money; and by nourishing Christ in poverty here and laying up great profit hereafter, we will be able to attain the good things which are to come. - St. John Chrysostom

I don't get the second one; maybe not many people noticed?
Here, at least the intro might shed (blue) light on the first photo.
Is any of the above Orthodox?  I have no idea, so there’s that.

I dunno, that's why I'm confused... at one point that night, someone pointed out that 9 of the top 10 things trending on twitter had to do with the situation... it was clearly getting a lot of attention, at least in some circles. Maybe real New Yorkers doing real New Yorker things like eating pizza didn't notice? Not sure.

The blue light was the result of an explosion in a power station. The light was very strong and lasted for seconds and was noticed by many New Yorkers. The first reaction online was panic and thinking something bad is taking place, Aliens invaded the city LOL. The meme is making fun of that.

Before cans became ubiquitous 0,33 was standard measure around here too. Probably because there were only a few breweries that dominated the whole market and commissioned their bottles en masse.

Something absolutely rare, that's this church (that I love so much):
Probably it's more sentimental, since:
1. It's the oldest (after the cathedral) church in Warsaw (at least from XIV/the beginning of XV century), that was a "witness" of various important historical events over the centuries, and it's in my district. And for some part of its history it was an Orthodox church.
2. My parents got married there and I was baptised in this church when I was 7 years old. We, at my class at gymnasium school, were organising various conferences, movies and other events regarged this church and the surrounding area.

It's maybe not so much beautiful, but you feel really a prayeful atmosphere, that lacks in many RC churches, especially modern ones.

But from the time it was Orthodox:

The mission in Uganda also has had troubles. The first priest, Fr. Joachim, fell into a brief coma and died due to a variety of health issues. This was also combined with some Ugandan scammers messaging Old Believer clergy in Russia for funds for his surgeries, which they pocketed. He was later replaced with another Fr. Joachim.

In terms of suspicions, are you referring to the human trafficking charges of Fr. Kirill Amer? I've tried to find more information on that, but its difficult to find news.

Happy shall he be, that shall take and dash thy little ones against the rock. Alleluia.

Oh no, I'm 27. And neither boyfriend, nor cat.

Pray for persecuted Christians, especially in Serbian Kosovo and Raška, Egypt and Syria

I have no idea what the context of this picture is. I ended up on that weird part of the internet again.

I did a reverse image search and found it on the History in Images blog, captioned with 'The Nazification of the Church in Russia'. It also appears on the Daily Stormer. Ugh, I need to go shower now.
