Just wanted to share that in light of my newly begun catechesis, and my wife already being Orthodox, our son and daughter (3 and 1 y.o.)are being chrismated next Sunday; our priest wants to do it then, so that it can happen before Great Lent begins. (My officially becoming orthodox will be a while later, of course, God willing)
We are very happy about this; one of the things of beauty that drew me to the OC was the early all-inclusion of the littlest ones.
Thanks to many on this board who have helped me along so that our family could get to this point.
I humbly ask all of you to pray for them, and for me to be a father fit to raise my little ones in the church. Lord knows I need all the help I can get.
