A strange thing that hasn't happened before has started happening. When someone sends me a pm and the popup notification comes up, the notification is blank and firefox freezes and I have to shut it down via the task manager and reopen it.
Is it possible to turn the popup notification off in profile?

Under "Personal Message Options" in your Profile, uncheck "Show a popup when you receive new messages?"
