I was informed this evening that his grace, Bishop BASIL of DOWAMA will be visiting our parish on a Wednesday evening in Great Lent which is when we celebrate the Pre-Sanctified Liturgy. I've chanted a few Hierarchical liturgies, but never a pre-sanctified when a Hierarch was serving.  What is involved?  Responses appreciated.

Doesn't your church have an "arhieraticon"?

Are you sure he will be serving?

From what I remember, there's actually no "eis polla eti despota" chanted.

Perhaps someone from the Bridgeport, CT area may know as Metropolitan Nicholas makes an annual Lenten visitation to St. John's Orthodox Church on Mill Hill Avenue in Bridgeport and celebrates the pre-sanctified Liturgy.
