Can anyone here recommend bible study software for Windows XP/7?

I see on the web that a product called QuickVerse is popular but I don't know if it’s Orthodox friendly in what versions/translations it uses, what kind of commentary is available, etc.

Any titles of software would help so that I can look into them a bit before purchasing.

Please let me know.

PS: Basically, I tried e-sword a while ago and I am wondering if any of the commercial packages are worth getting into.

I rely mostly on websites and get by ok, as I have found them just as good as the Bible software I've used in the past. But then again, by "past" I'm talking like a decade ago, so I'm sure there's some much more advanced stuff out there now. I look forward to hearing about what's available... Smiley

I can vouch for Bibleworks by Hermeneutica, albeit it might be a bit pricey at $350  http://www.bibleworks.com/

But there are many choices which should be able to fulfill your needs, which probably would include the LXX (Septuagint), which is typically included both in Greek, and translated into English.
