I'm in several pictures in the Consecration section, singing in the second choir directed by Fr. Stephan Meholick (who, if you've heard, can not dispute that he is one of the best chanting priests in the country).

Where are you?
How this relates to the coming Antichrist? I don't know...

In the picture of the second choir, conducted by Fr. Stephan (long hair, big beard, wearing a white cassic (sp?)), I'm the short guy in the back standing to the right of the tall guy that looks like Jesus.

So you're the one in the plaid?

You got it!  At least in an Orthodox Forum, I'm not afraid to 'out' myself.  ;)

Was anyone from the ROCOR cathedral at the consecration?  I'm just curious, since St. John of Shanghai & San Francisco is one of my favorite saints and his sepulchre is at the ROCOR cathedral in SF.  Also, I thought ROCOR and OCA relations were "warming" as of late.  I'm also wondering if there's a lot of "tension" between the two cathedrals.

Go read the press release again.  Fr. Peter, Dean of the cathedral was there.  I've met him before, he's young (looks like he might not even be 40), quiet and very friendly.

Elisha, thanks for pointing this out to me.  On the OCA's website, I somehow completely missed the press release but saw only the photos....  glad to hear that the detente is progressing!

If you look closely, I'm on the front page!!

I just found out today that Fr. Peter is in his 40's, probably early to mid 40's.  He does look young.

The new bishop was at my parish (www.stseraphim.com) for Vespers last night and will serve a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy for St. John the Theologian tomorrow morning (Saturday) w/ lunch following.  I even got to talk to him for a few minutes last night.
