Tomorrow is a highly popularized day for Egyptians, dubbed the "Day of Wrath" after Friday Islamic Prayers. As cries for revolution are all over Egypt, many of us are also worried about how the situation will turn out, especially since we also have families there. I ask you to pray for peace and safety for everyone there.
Pray also that the Lord may deliver the Egyptian people from evil people who are taking advantage of the situation, whoever they may be.
Lord, have mercy!

Mubarak, the Egyptian president, has ruled Egypt by emergency ruling, being essentially a dictator for 30 years. Economy has gotten worse since, oppression has increased, and people's fear of offending Mubarak has grew less and less until it reached a boiling point this week.

Question a friend, perhaps he did not do it; but if he did anything so that he may do it no more. A hasty quarrel kindles fire, and urgent strife sheds blood. If you blow on a spark, it will glow; if you spit on it, it will be put out; and both come out of your mouth

So a friend of mine, his grandmother in Egypt fell and broke her hip. She couldn't go to the hospital because there were no doctors for two days because of unavailability of physicians with all the ruckus going on.
Keep her and many others who might be in similar situations in your prayers.

It's getting worse over there finally, I managed to call my family in Egypt, after the internet and communication channels were restored. They are really terrified, they wake up on the sound of machine gun shots, they struggle to find food supplies, and above all, they are afraid of mob attacks as the police forces (which support the regime) disappeared to spread chaos. Security forces have gone crazy again, attacking and shooting protesters. I pray that all of this come to an end soon with no more destruction. I pray for God's peace to prevail among His people in Egypt.
