I need a vision for my life. When I had a clearer vision, I knew what to do next. I don't have that now. I don't want to stagnate. I need to hear God on this one.I need a vision for my life. Lord, have mercy on Your handmaiden! Happens to all of us, I guess. In my own experience, it helps when I get busy.

Sometimes a 'lack of vision' is infact the vision we need ... it is the lack of vision that forces us to actually look for the real vision of our life ... just saying, we think we know what life is about and we let life pass us by with "time fillers" that are seen as "vision" ...
We all have a vision for our life ... do we submit ourselves to it?

I think that is what I mean. I am not seeing it

Awwww ... the truth is, and this will sound cliche, our vision in life is to find our peace with God through repentance and a daily struggle ... that is the vision of life, the Kingdom of Heaven.
It is a hard line to digest but the truest vision of life ... when we truly understand its meaning and its power in our life then we are open to struggling with the mundane, with the hardships and with the trails in joy ....
Personally, I have not achieved this goal. Some times I have ... and had extreme joy through the most boring periods of my life or through the hardest trials of my life but right now that is not the case.
You see, because I have lost the vision (in the depth of my heart) ... I find it a struggle and a chore and really hard to enjoy and spend time in a little prayer, example.
Lord Have Mercy for us both so we can both find simple things that will inspire us ...
Have you considered starting out with something simple? Such as, a walk in the park on a daily basis or at the beach?
Just to stop ... and enjoy the Creation around us?

Lord have mercy!
O God grant your servant the wisdom to see your holy will and the courage and guidance to follow it.

We cannot legislate morality by passing laws controlling firearms. The only evil we can combat lies within our hearts. We need stronger laws to protect the moral foundation of society against the evil of gay marriage.
