Is my post in Serbian-Croatian gramatically and orthographicaly correct?
zasto ja zivim, moze li da moram pitati za kome, cime da zivim? Svakako mislim sto sve je govno, ... Nekada ja htjeo sam bih biti patrijota, a sada ja probam zivjeti nekako strojna bludnica. Haha, ja samo tvrde da ja sam bludnica! Koliko vremena ja govorim sam "ti si drolja". Svećenik govori mene, lose ima druga strana, tvoj greh ima druga strane. Ova je istina ali ja cesto zaboram taj istinu. Za svoj greh, svaki samo zasluzan. Ali ja sam nije moralizator, ja sam mlad i lud covjek. Grci tvrdi da ovi, koji nisu lud nekad oni su mlad, su patuljaci. Ali pravda boli, ali to je tema na razni puta.

Sorry, but from what I can see it's not great grammar at all. From what I could get out of the recognizable grammar and structure that is there, it's kind of rude as well.

Zašto živim? (lična zamenica JA se u srpskom podrazumeva, za razliku od engleskog) ............. (ovde ne razumem šta si hteo da kažeš) Mislim da je sve besmisleno. Nekada sam hteo da budem patriota (ili rodoljub, to je srpska reč) a sada pokušavam da živim kao..... bludnica. Tvrdim da sam bludnica. Već dugo sebi govorim - ti si drolja. Sveštenik mi kaže da greh ima i drugu stranu. Ovo je istina koju često zaboravljam. Svako je odgovoran (zaslužan) za svoj greh. Ali, nisam moralizator već mlad i lud čovek. Grci kažu da su patuljci oni koji nikada nisu bili ludi. Na žalost, istina boli (istina boli je fiksiran izraz u srpskom ... kao awful truth u engleskom na primer) Ipak, to je tema o kojoj ću pričati nekog narednog puta. slobodno pitaj sve što te dalje zanima  |

depends on who you're asking. Historically when Croatia became its own country after the wars of the 90's they claimed croatian as it's own language & changed a whole bunch of words & even some grammar structure. In all actuality though, they are extremely similar, even with the changes. |

A Catholic Serb is a Croat and an Orthodox Croat is a Serb. Not always. I think it works in 90% cases. As for Orthodox Croats, some of them they consider themselves as Croats, they even have wanted an autocephalus Church. And as for Serbs, it happens more rarely than an Orthodox Croat, but it exists probably only in mixed families. However, I think we have one language, and in some way, we're one nation, divided by religion, that affects many other things like habits, food, celebrations etc. |

Well, such person very stigmatized, e.g Roman Catholic Serbian (I've heard about only one from non-mixed family; he's converted) who wouldn't celebrate Slava (inherited feast of family patron)? No badnjak for Christmas? Is outrage! That's why there are some Muslims from Balkans who continue the tradition of Slava (!) I think it's a bit easier for Croats to convert to Orthodoxy than for Serbians to convert to Roma Catholicism. But covert Serbian stills be Serbian and Croat stills be Croat. Such person would be only nicknamed "Serb" (but not always) in case of Croat and "Croat" (more often) in case of Serbs. Sometimes I think we're not different nationalities, but tribes (I mean the rank of the difference is lower). I have an uncle who is Serbian and used to be a Catholic because his father was an Italian (I think he's now Orthodox). And never he was named "Croat". But I know, it's a bit specific case. |
