Books on Religion

I'd like to read some books on comparing different religions. What are some good books to reference when studying different religions?

One of the best I've read is the classic by Huston Smith: The World Religions (formerly published as The Religions of Man).
It's a great overview of the world's major religions, and tends to be objective and accurate.

If you are interested in investigating some of the underlying similarities of religions (especially their mystical or esoteric aspects), The Perennial Philosophy by Aldous Huxley is a great book.
