We just returned from the ordination of a new deacon at Christ the Savior Cathedral in Johnstown, PA which was performed by Metropolitan Nicholas. He is frail and remains quite ill but his spirits are good, his voice was strong and he was determined to ordain Deacon Charles who has served the church in various capacities for many,many years. The Metropolitan underwent a battery of medical tests on Monday, so please remember him in your prayers and pray for his return to good health in service of our Lord and His Church! Lord, have mercy.
