Festal Menaion recommendations?
« on: January 18, 2011, 12:42:14 AM »
Around Nativity my spiritual father suggested I get a Festal Menaion to meditate on the great feasts. Can I get some recommendations on some good ones? (Good typesetting/layout is a nice bonus!)

The only one I know of, at least in a single volume, is that translated by Metropolitan Kallistos and Mother Mary, and currently published by St. Tikhon's monastery. I suspect that's the book your spiritual father had in mind.
When a time revolts against eternity, the only thing to set against it is genuine eternity itself, and not some other time which has already roused, and not without reason, a violent reaction against itself.
