Ordination of a Deacon

During the Liturgy of Theophany at Christ the Savior Cathedral in Johnstown, PA, Sub-deacon Charles Ellis of St. Michael's Church, Binghamton, NY will be ordained to the Diaconate by His Eminence, Metropolitan Nicholas. A long time Church School teacher and assistant Cantor of St. Michael's, the new Deacon is the father of Father Michael Ellis pastor of Sts. Constantine and Helen Orthodox Church, Mansfield Ohio and grandfather of Seminarian Will Bennett, curently a student at Christ the Savior Seminary in Johnstown and IUP in Indiana, PA. Please remember the newly ordained Deacon and his family in your prayers. AXIOS!
