A website attributed to Al Qaeda has called for bomb attacks on Coptic churches in Holland, on the January 7 Coptic celebration of Christmas.

From the article:

They certainly seem to desire a religious war. If they decide to target non-mideast Protestants in Europe and the United States,rather than Orthodox or Catholics with a mideast background this could really explode. Let us pray for our Christian brothers and sisters. Lord, have mercy.

Are private security forces the best way to deal with this? Probably not. Still, it's always good to see Muslims offering to take action in defense of Christians. Hopefully the silent majority will speak up and such noble actions will typify Christian-Muslim relationships in the years to come.
