saints commemorated on June 26th?
« on: January 02, 2011, 04:59:11 PM »
I have consulted my "Prologue of Ochrid", but there may be new saints added, as St. Nickolai is only called Bishop Nickolai, so it's a bit dated.

can you please show me where to find saints commemorated on June 26th?  this is for my dad, as he'll be converting to orthodoxy soon (and he doesn't have access to a computer, so I need to print out some options to show him.)
"At the Last Judgment I will not be asked whether I satisfactorily practiced asceticism, nor how many bows I have made before the divine altar. I will be asked whether I fed the hungry, clothed the naked, visited the sick, and the prisoner in his jail. That is all I will be asked." - Sv. Maria Skobotsova

Why do posters that claim to have me blocked keep sending me pms and responding to my posts? That makes no sense.

thanks, everyone, for the congrats!

thanks, Irish Hermit!  my father is 1/2 celtic (Irish/English/Scottish), so I will definatly give him these suggestions.
