An archpriest in a city near Moscow, Russia was the victim of a robbery, and has since died. Fr. Ioann Mukhin was 65.  Cry  Cry Cry

From the article:
Quote
According to the preliminary data, three malefactors came to 65-year-old Archpriest Ioann Mukhin at night and demanded to give them money. He gave robbers what they wanted and then called his friends to tell about the crime committed against him.

Later the priest was found dead. His body does not have signs of violent death. It is not excluded that a heart attack after experienced stress caused death.

"Lord have mercy."

Memory Eternal!

May his prayers and ours turn the hearts of these criminals to repentance and faith in Our Lord.

In Paradisum deducant te angeli,
In tuo adventu suscipiate martyres,
Et perducant te in Civitatem Sanctam Ierusalem
Chorus Angelorum te suscipiat,
Et cum Lazaro quondam paupere Aeternam habeas Requiem.

May his memory be eternal.+

Excellence of character, then, is a state concerned with choice, lying in a mean relative to us, this being determined by reason and in the way in which the man of practical wisdom would determine it. Now it is a mean between two vices, that which depends on excess and that which depends on defect.
