Grieving for pet

My dog was just euthanized; I am very sad. Pray for me.

So and more also do God unto the enemies of David, if I leave of all that pertain to him by the morning light any that pisseth against the wall.

I'm sorry for you loss.  I know how hard it can be.  Pets are part of the family, little people in fur coats.  Please take comfort in knowing that euthanisia is painless.  I had to have a kitten euthanized because of leukemia and I was there, he fell asleep.  And I also worked at a vet clinic.  It's tough right now but it's in a better place. God Bless.

Lord, have mercy and ease your grief!
Conquer evil men by your gentle kindness, and make zealous men wonder at your goodness. Put the lover of legality to shame by your compassion. With the afflicted be afflicted in mind. Love all men, but keep distant from all men.

I'm so very sorry.  A lot of people don't understand the bond between us and our companion animals, so it's hard to find solace; but there are also those of us who so deeply understand the blessings we've had when given the unconditional love of a pet, and how terrible it is to lose them.  Know that my heart mourns with you.  I will pray for you .

Lord, have mercy! I can relate. My wife and I lost two very beloved cats in 2007-2009.

I had to go through it in October.  It was like losing a family member, but remember that not 1 sparrow falls without the LORD noticing.  May the LORD be with you.

I also have had to make this very difficult decision with one of my cats.  Like with others, I grew up around animals and I am a cat person personally.  May the Lord have mercy on you, your family and your little pet.

Lord, have mercy.

I know it doesn't make sense but apparently my dog was not euthanized. This was all happening in another state and I was stranded on vacation so I was mistaken.

I'm hoping this means that you still have your puppy to come home to?!  *Thanks be to God!*  Again, I am reminded of how precious His blessings are in our lives - its so easy for me to lose perspective and take so much for granted.  I hope you are reassured of your dog's safety as soon as possible!
In His Mercy,
