Concrete walls up to 10 feet high are being built around churches in Baghdad and Mosul to protect Christmas churchgoers from violence.The barriers are the Iraqi government's response to reports of increased threats to churches and other Christian communities ahead of Christmas.

The churchgoers should be safe then, seeing as they will never have to leave the safety of the walled church.   Undecided

I'm glad they're doing something though, even if it seems only to be a gesture.

If they can't shoot them then the terrorists (jihadists, whatever you want to call them) will just mortar them instead. The walls help a little bit, but not much when the mortars land on the building itself... I don't mean to sound morbid, or macabre, but that is the truth of the matter...
