Indeed, He is Risen!
Hope everyone had a blessed and wonderful Pascha and breaking of the fast as my wife and I did. An illumined Bright Week to all!

(and try not to overdo the meat in your diet this week ) Nonsense... my roomate(a PK) and I decided that Bright Week is the perfect time to start a low carb diet. XPICTOC BOCKPECE! Christos Anesti! Al Masiah Qam! Kristi Undjall Erid Krist Christus est resurrexit Christos a Inviat Christ est Ressucite Christos ama Fafouka Christus ist Auferstanden These were all the paschal greetings used by my priest this year. I'm hoping next year I can convince him to include Krist peplu'ta'! taHbej peplu'ta'!

Being that I've never had a lesson in latin, I'm grateful I could string them together as well as I did. The languages are: Slavonic/Russian/Ukranian Greek Arabic Albanian Gaelic Latin Romanian French Swahili German And thrown into that last sentence; Klingon.

Now where were we? Oh yeah - the important thing was I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn’t have white onions because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones...

I found it here. Not so much a trekee anymore as I don't care for Enterprise. The last half of DS9 is still my favorite.

Maligajang pagkabuhay ni Kristo! That would be Tagalog, I think...perhaps...who knows? http://www.christusrex.org/www1/pope/easter.html That website says it is, but they also say "buona pasqua!" (Happy Easter) in Italian instead of Indeed He is Risen! Kim (ooh, member status )
