Dear Friend with MS
« on: December 14, 2010, 08:02:56 PM »
Please pray for my friend Karim.  He has had MS for a while, but just recently, it flared up even worse.  He has left arm and leg paralysis.  They now have to change his meds, but he's also at risk because he has JC virus (about half the human population has this) that could potentially hurt him very terribly if they suppress his immune system.

Please keep my friend Karim in your prayers.  He's a good man, still young, and has his whole life ahead of him.  He is planning to be a physician like me.

Thank you.

Left arm and leg paralysis?  I know MS can be very wonky, but that sounds too lateral for MS. . . . are they missing something?  Could he have had a stroke?  Please forgive my intrusion. . .alarm just went off. . . :(

Lord have mercy!!

In His Mercy,
BethAnna

I thought that too, but I think that's all he has, and at the same he's in his mid-20s.  Unlikely to be a stroke.
