A church in Sayler Park, Ohio, from a group which calls itself the 'Ohio Orthodox Catholic Church,' will on Saturday ordain a female bishop. The church is not affiliated with the Orthodox Church or the Roman Catholic Church.  Huh

From the article:
Quote
"I am not concerned about not being recognized by the Vatican," said Archbishop Charles Smith, 60, a former Roman Catholic. "I am much more concerned with being recognized by the gospel."

The new church does not recognize the central rule of the Vatican. It will ordain married, single, male or female clergy.

"We are inclusive, pretty much will accept anyone where they are," Smith said. "We don't force a lot of rules and regulations on people. We walk with them as they are."

Honestly, these people have delusions of grandeur. Why not just become the liberal Protestant denomination that you are?

Accepting everyone where they are...just like the Lord and his reaction to moneylenders in the Temple. Not.

Why be surprised or give them additional publicity?

Since they are neither Orthodox nor Catholic does it matter what they do?

since the Gospel says to the Apostles and their successors "who rejects you rejectes Me, and he who rejects Me rejects Him Who sent me," that leaves him pretty much alone.

Question a friend, perhaps he did not do it; but if he did anything so that he may do it no more.
A hasty quarrel kindles fire,
and urgent strife sheds blood.
If you blow on a spark, it will glow;
if you spit on it, it will be put out;
                           and both come out of your mouth

"Where you are" is the new buzzword that basically means "You don't have to convert to Christ in any way shape or form"

Pretty much. Just sit there and God will do all the work.
