I saw one of my best friends last night and he told me that his newborn son will need surgery soon, probably this month. When little Joseph was born his skull had fused together on top, his brain will keep growing, but his skull will not. With out the surgery Joseph will very possibly die  Please keep Joseph and his mom, Amber, and father, Bobby, in your prayers. |

So... I just found out yesterday that my friends apartment and three others burned down. They are not quite sure of the causes, but it looks like a cigarette butt may have caught a couch (that was outside) on fire and it leaded to the larger fire. My friend was able to get his wife and his newborn out but he could not salvage anything else. This fire effected one of my other friends who was room mate to my friend and his wife; he is currently in Texas but I know he is really mad because he lost everything in the fire as well. My friend and his wife are staying with his mother until they get back on their feet.  |

Update on my friend and his family. Their baby boy, Joseph, had a successful surgery and he has recovered nicely! Also, they found a nice town home in a different town (about 15 miles away) that is much better than the apartment they had.
