Today, December 1, is the seventh anniversary of the repose of our beloved friend and brother, John Royce, who posted here as Hypo-Ortho and at ByzCath as Orthodox East. Please remember him in your prayers.
Lord, we thank You for the years that You allowed us to enjoy the company of Your servant, John. We trust and pray that he is with You in a place of light and love, where there is neither pain nor suffering, neither grief nor sighing.
We ask also that You give comfort to Christine and his family in their happy memories of him and the belief that he is with You.
May John's memory be eternal.

I well remember the shock that went round us all when we learnt of his passing.
John was a true gentleman.
May his memory be eternal

Seven years... It's hard to believe it's been that long. He was a true gentleman and he's still missed.
May Light perpetual shine upon him.
