Ny brother Kieran, named after St Kieran of Clonmacnoise, unfortynately suffered a brian haemorrage a numer of years of ago. Due to a forsighted insurance policy he is in recipt of a reasonable pension. In a few years after his illness he married in a secular state service. To put it simply stronly suspect that he doesnt get enough care or attention from his wife and isin som way a victim of some financial and enotioanl abuse.... his savings once about $ 200,000 are now completely gone, all that is left is his regular pension cheque which is paid into a 'joint acccount'...He is poorly dressed, receives very few meals, and often eats in cafes and delis because his 'wife' is out socialising or spending valuable quality time with her grandchldren, to which my brother is rarely invited. His wifes daughter ans son recebtky acquired the downpayment of a property which we could noy work out where the finance came from. Nominally his wife is a Roman catholic and she likes to go on 10 day walking holiday every year with her closest spiritual adviser of the RC faith who is about as 'right on' on all matter pertaining to the faith as is possible... I feel my brother is nglected and abused in many ways and I would ask readers of this entirly honest account to ask St Kierab of Clonmacnoise to intervene ans assist him in some way that his life which is currentky very limitig and rather sad can be improved. I make a point of doin tyhis with my icon of St Kierna of clonmacnoise and it make me feel I am doin domething posotive, I hope that some of you may be able to do the same....

St.Kieran is a patron saint of my daughter Kiara. When my daughter, Kiara, was sick I prayed through St. Kiearan, too.
O Holy Saint Kieran, please pray to Christ our God, for our brother Kieran who is in suffering so he may be well soon"
