Saints Dimitrios and Georgios

« on: November 22, 2010, 06:18:20 PM »

Hello to everyone! I am new to this forum and this is my very first post. I kindly ask you to pray first for my grandmother, Terpsithea. She is Greek Orthodox and her Parkinson's disease, along with other things, has made her unable to go to Church, the last 5 years or so. She is only able to walk a little around the house, but she soon gets tired and has to sit down. She still has a priest to confess and receive Communion from time to time.

Secondly, I ask you to pray for me. I have always been a Greek Orthodox Christian, but my faith was significantly strengthened, when I was 17 years old, when I met some specific people. Now, at 20, I'm not as faithful as I used to be and I'm trying to go back to the Lord's will, even if it seems so hard. A reason for that is perhaps that I hardly find any people who believe in God in every day life and most people who go to Church where I live are after their 60s and I don't have that much to discuss with them.  Undecided Registering for this forum is one of the ways to fight back and discuss matters with Christian brothers again and further strengthen my faith.

So, to sum up, pray for Terpsithea and Dimitrios - Georgios (me). Thank you in advance.
