I want to buy my 2 yo son a children's Bible. I saw that the Orthodox Marketplace sells the Children's Bible Reader - has anyone used this before?

Yes, but not exclusively.

Question a friend, perhaps he did not do it; but if he did anything so that he may do it no more.
A hasty quarrel kindles fire,
and urgent strife sheds blood.

if you spit on it, it will be put out;

Yes, but not exclusively.

Do you recommend it? Do you use another children's Bible as well?

I really like Egermeiers bible storybook a great deal. I grew up reading it, and my mother read it when she was young as well.

Egermeier's is a classic.  I carry it at my church's bookstore.

I think you can get it either in paperback or hardcover, but I get hardcover for the bookstore, as I think it will be more durable.

Yes, it's fine. I have another, a small "Bible Stories for Children" which has a short summary on one page with a picture on the facing page. Because it is short my sons got used to going through it identifying letters, recounting stories, etc. It was the first book they read. We moved on to the Bible Reader later.
