Greetings in that Divine and Most Precious Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
Well, you know, the See of Alexandria has generally been considered the longest continuous Patriarchate, and the Tewahedo Church is the first official Church of any kingdom on earth under Emperor Ezana, and of course the Greek Orthodox have their ancient monasteries, and the Syrians always the underdog have been a wealth of Christianity around the Oriental Orthodox world, but all history aside, sectarianism and cultural cheuvenism is dangerous to unification of the One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic Church. We are all brothers and sisters, we are all body parts in this Body of Christ. The feet do not vaunt over the hands, neither do the ears envy the eyes, nor does the arm try to subvert the shoulder, but ALL these body parts with their various histories, functions and flavors, cooperate together, jointly, unified, towards the goal of Life in and Homeostasis in the Body.
Let us forget these kinds of discussions and competitions, and embrace the unity of our Church, and search more so for its oneness than for its distinctions. After all,
But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant.
NIV Matthew 20:26
