This makes me completely sick. I pray for all the alleged victims and for Sister Christonymphi. It disturbed me to read that she "has left the monastic life..." Perhaps he meant to say she left the monastery? Please continue to update us.

I hope that there are sources outside of the Herald for information. Has this been reported in the secular press? The website of St. Irene's does not say much except for a reference to continuing 'Patriarchal Exarchy Hearings' being conducted in Queens this week.
Lord, have mercy and grant the Church and its leaders strength during this difficult period.

nymphi,, is this were the word nymph came from ...Its Odd to name a nun that I would think....  and the word Christo togeather.... May the Lord have mercy on this poor Nun.
