I'm just here for the food.

« on: November 06, 2010, 12:55:10 AM »

I need prayers badly.

I was forced to move to a place where I could have living expenses covered, but unfortunately is too far from an Orthodox church for me to get to Liturgy regularly.  That hurts a lot.

I'm stuck here because I could not find a permanent job earlier this year, and drained my savings trying to find another one before having to resort to this.

Although I'm still in need of a job, I can't work at the moment because I've recently developed some serious health problems that preclude working.  My doctor's appointment is still a long way away, but it was the best I could do.  I was rather badly treated the last time I sought help for this.  Even though things have gotten much more serious since then, it's quite difficult to overcome the bad memory and try again with this new doctor.

Please pray that I will escape from this nightmare.  I feel so drained from multiple wounds, if it weren't for prayer, I think I would have gone nuts by now!

I experienced a rapid decline over the weekend that forced me to seek more urgent medical attention instead of waiting for my appointments.  Through God's providence, it looks like I will finally get some answers on the medical front, and, I hope, some kind of effective treatment.  I still have a long way to go before things are resolved, so I continue to ask for prayers, but things seem to be turning in the right direction for the time being.
