Please pray for Metropolitan Paisios of Tyana and Bishop Vikentios of Apameia, titular bishops of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, who are on trial and under investigation for serious allegations.
If there are indeed victims, please pray for them as well.
Please pray for Greek Orthodox Christians living in Astoria, New York, who will undoubtedly be highly scandalized if indeed the allegations against these bishops are found to be true.

I pray it's all just a bad misunderstanding, and no real harm was done to anyone...laws weren't broken - legal, moral or canonical.

May God's mercy and peace be with them all. Its moments like this that remind me that the Church is a divine institution...human leadership, with all its weaknesses, has not destroyed it. May the Truth shine forth and through this all may the Church and her children be strengthened.
