St. George

Could you please pray that God either A) miraculously heal me of my (largely unknown) illnesses, or that B) He or one of the saints clearly reveal to me the natural remedy that would heal me.  I've been to so many doctors and have had so many drugs and remedies that have not worked.  Every conscious wakeful moment the past 7 years or so I've been in excruciating pain and in great stiffness.  I feel like I'm grasping at straws and struggle to live.  I'm getting tired of this and find it hard not to be cynical.  I've asked for healing before miraculous icons and relics of the saints, and I'm beginning to feel that they all have deaf ears and although quick to hear don't feel like responding.  Thanks.

Excellence of character, then, is a state concerned with choice, lying in a mean relative to us, this being determined by reason and in the way in which the man of practical wisdom would determine it. Now it is a mean between two vices, that which depends on excess and that which depends on defect.

For what it is worth, don't give up on medicine.  My father had multiple myeloma and it started out as aches, fatigue, etc.  Nobody could find anything wrong with him and thought it was psychological.  He is a very determined person and I think that helped him persist with the doctors until they finally diagnosed him.  I have no idea what you might be going through, but reading your post reminded me of his years of not feeling good and not knowing why.

Thank you for your prayers everyone.

Bob L.,
That is very similiar to my situation.  I hope that I find out what exactly is wrong.  That would be a relief for me.  Thank you.
