I have TMJ and it has been acting up for the past week. I finally got anti-biotics and vicodine yesterday and have been taking them. The pain ranges from okay (or non-existent if i'm medicated enough) to pretty bad. It is mainly in my lower jaw and near my ear.

Prayers that it may calm down and heal fast and the pain may subside...

Thank you for your prayers!

I went to Urgent Care on Saturday, had the Doctor check me out and he gave me a shot of pain medication as well as an additional prescription of medication that has helped tremendously with the pain.

Also on Thursday my Dentist prescribed painkillers and anti-biotics.

Hopefully things will start getting better as the pain is subsiding (hopefully not just due to the painkillers) somewhat and all I probably have left to do is get an x-ray of my jaw/mouth to make sure things are okay.

Again, Thank you for your prayers!

Excellence of character, then, is a state concerned with choice, lying in a mean relative to us, this being determined by reason and in the way in which the man of practical wisdom would determine it. Now it is a mean between two vices, that which depends on excess and that which depends on defect.

Turns out it was a tooth that needed a root canal done... Got part of the root canal done today and the rest will be finished in a week.

That is... The tooth set off my TMJ...
