My Uncle Steve fell and broke his neck late last week.  His condition is serious.  Please ask God for his healing.

He had bought me a Mickey Mouse watch in my youth.  I've always felt close to him.

Excellence of character, then, is a state concerned with choice, lying in a mean relative to us, this being determined by reason and in the way in which the man of practical wisdom would determine it. Now it is a mean between two vices, that which depends on excess and that which depends on defect.

Thank you for all your prayers.

My uncle passed from this life late evening, Oct. 2nd.  May God rest his soul in peace; and may his sins be pardoned, forgiven, and remitted.  He was a devout Orthodox Christian who led a long and rewarding life on earth.
