The widow of Fr. Daniel Sysoyev has written a novel, and has the approval of the Moscow Patriarchate. Fr. Sysoyev, who had been an outspoken critic of Islamic extremism, was shot to death last year. It was widely believed that the culprit may have come from an extremist group.

Yulia Sysoyeva "has written a novel about a young woman who out of her love for her husband finds herself in a camp where Islamists prepare suicide bombers."  (from the article)

Should be an interesting book.

It was widely believed that the culprit may have come from an extremist group.

Last I heard, they know that he was from an extremist group because I believe the culprit was killed in some fighting in Azerbaijan. And also, the extremist group claimed responsibility.
