Could you please pray that my parents let up and stop seeing my conversion to Orthodoxy ("Eastern Rite" as they call it) as something misguided I should feel guilty or ashamed about?

They seem to think that someone from the Catholic school I attended converted me to the "Eastern Rite."  They can't fathom why I became Orthodox after studying Catholic theology at university.

Thanks!

Lord, have mercy.

Remember to honor your parents and love them with all of your heart "so that your days may be long and that it may go well with you." This commandment comes with a blessing. Be a blessing to your parents, and perhaps they will understand in time.
