Where's Waldo?
Did he split?
Did he make a parting statement or just leave?
I wonder if he listened to the CD of Fr. Seraphim Rose that he said he had purchased.
God Bless Alfred. May he find Peace.
Once we mods put him on Post Moderation for being insufferably rude, he left us a nasty swan song message, which we rejected, and left. You might find him badmouthing us at the CARM Web site.

Alfred...I have never responded to your posts...nor do I believe I will in the future. I happen to agree with Truthful that your posts reflect the attitude that is bringing my family out of the heretical protestant falsities and into the Truth of the Holy Orthodox Church. Being a former sola scriptura kind of guy, let me leave this for you:
Know this first of all, that there is no prophecy of scripture that is a matter of personal interpretation... (2 Peter 2:20)
This being the Word of God made known to us through St. Peter...perhaps you should keep your personal interpretations and Gnostic self-revelations to a minimum...and ask for the prayers of your dear Brothers and Sisters here in Holy Orthodoxy for your conversion to the Truth of Jesus Christ.

His posts in CARM seem like one in a rage. As problematic as they were here, they seemed at least tempered. I will choose to avoid him but wish him well.

Lord, have mercy on Alfred, who is Thy creation, made in Thine image; illumine him with the light of awareness; grant him a path to Holy Orthodoxy; and save him by Thy Grace, for Thy Holy Name's sake!

Let me say first that let there be peace and love between us if there is not that it doesn't matter what faith we 'profess' for then there is no truth is us and I would rather be righteous than right any day. Please know that if I ever give off a trace of hostility it is not meant; I am a prideful sinner.
All I wanted to say on this thread was that I for one, agree with Martin Luther, for like he, I believe in confession for absolution, intercession of the saints, monasticism, and the presence of Christ in the Divine Mysteries.

f you take offense, we at Make Straight Paths ask you this: Conduct your own extensive Bible study, being sure to give the Bible precedence over the MLs and GNs. That is, allow God his right to judge Family writing, as well as to judge this website by elevating the Bible above all other writings.
