This is going to be a strange question but I am hoping some OO (particularly Coptic) Christian may know the answer:

Is there any saint or holy man in the OO church that was/is known for lying down?  In other words, is there a particular person that either part or all of their life was for some reason compelled to go about on a stretcher or be moved from place to place? 

Again I know this sounds crazy but be assured I have a very sane reason for asking.

Perhaps this was a saint who was paralyzed much of his life, but bore this affliction with great patience?

Salpy:  I have not seen an icon of this saint.  But I believe it is as you have said a saint who was paralyzed most or all of his life and was thus confined to bed.  He would have had to be carried from place to place.  I am looking for a name if anyone knows the saint this could be.
