For this fasting season, does any body use any special prayer book/s just for this season?  Or is there anything that we, as a christian, are supposed to do for these two weeks other than the usual fasting times?

It would be a good time to study and reflect on the life of the Virgin Mary, and to study the writings of the Church Fathers on those passages of Scripture which describe her.

Father Peter, thank you for the reply. Do you happen to know anything written by the church Fathers about Saint Mary in English? Thank you again, Father Peter.

One book I have found useful is...

Mary and the Fathers of the Church: The Blessed Virgin Mary in Patristic Thought

http://www.amazon.com/Mary-Fathers-Church-Blessed-Patristic/dp/0898706866/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1281386584&sr=1-1

It contains a wide range of patristic sources and is an interesting and informative volume that provides lots of patristic material on which to reflect.

God bless

The little book on the veneration of the Theotokos in Orthodox tradition by St John (Maximovitch) is also good.

Thank you for this suggestion, Fr. Peter. I never gave much thought before to what sort of "theme" to have for Dormition fast. But obviously focussing on our Lady is the thing to do!
