At this very moment, my sister, who is in the hospital for anorexia, is meeting with my brother and his wife (and a therapist) to resolve some deep seated between them.  This is remarkable because my sister is very much an introvert and my brother and his wife have rather explosive tempers.  This is very first time anyone in my family has tried such a thing and I have very high hopes for it.  A rift between my brother and the rest of us has been slowly widening over the years and it's hit my sister very hard; she was the closest to them (in contrast, I'm probably the most distant, but it's a distance my brother and I are quite okay with; we just don't have a lot in common). 

Anyways, please offer a short prayer that cool heads prevail and everyone gets heard and understood.

Lord, have mercy!
