Dear Fathers, sisters and brothers in Christ,

Please pray for my wife Lesya and myself as we travel to Ukraine tomorrow. We will fly to Atlanta by a small charter plane, then to Amsterdam, and then to Kyiv. Also, may I ask that you pray for Lesya as she is going to see her 79-y.o. mother who became mentally ill (dementia) over the two years after our last visit in 2008. Lesya is "kind of" prepared, but it will still be a shock, of course.

Lord, have mercy!

Господи Помилуй!

May you have a safe trip and journey.
May your soul be filled with all the glorious holy sites, relics, and Grace of God that abounds those lands.
May your stomach be filled with the scrumptious vareniki, borscht and all manner of good home cooking (not to mention liquid variety)!
May your nostrils be filled with the lovely smells of incense, the blooming flowers and the crisp clean Ukrainian air!

God bless you on your travels!

Have fun!
