My housemate came home from work today with a broken arm. Yeah, fun. Work related accident that resulted in the fracture of both bones in his left forearm--fortunately, he's right-handed. He now sports a big cast on his arm and will require surgery in a couple of days. Fortunately, he should be able to file a workman's comp claim for the injury and the time he's not going to be able to work. Lord, have mercy on your servant Athanasius!

Been there, done that. Wasn't fun. I hope his surgery and recovery go well.

Good gravy! Are injuries like this common in his line of work? Poor guy.
Lord, have mercy.
