when my grandparents died, my mother had them cremated.  most of their remains went into large urns that now rest in a niche.  but we have keepsakes, or tiny urns with their remains in them.  can I have these in my icon corner?  it would help me above all else to remember to pray for their souls.

Have you asked your priest about this?

I have not, but that's a good idea.

Though there is no doubt that our departed friends and loved ones pray for us and intercede before Christ's dread judgment seat, I don't have pics of my relatives in my icon corner.  Ask your priest.
