Has anyone read,

Congar, Yves. After Nine Hundred Years: The Background of the Schism between the Eastern and Western Churches. Westport, CT: Greenwood Press, 1978.

Is it worth reading for a balanced understanding of the issues?

I haven't read that one, but i know that Congar is a highly reputable source.
