For a safe trip
« on: June 15, 2010, 12:27:17 AM »
I'm taking a flight to Texas next week.
I am terrified of flying and of Texas because it's tornado season.
There are also a lot of false things in that part of my family, I do love them but they degrade my Dad.
Please pray for my safe flights and duration of the trip.
Also for my family.
God Bless you.
Psalms 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Safe travels.
As a result of a thousand million years of evolution, the universe is becoming conscious of itself, able to understand something of its past history and its possible future.

Lord, have mercy.
"There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there always has been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that “my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge."" Lord, have mercy.
"For, by its immensity, the divine substance surpasses every form that our intellect reaches. Thus we are unable to apprehend it by knowing what it is. Yet we are able to have some knowledge of it by knowing what it is not." - St. Thomas Aquinas, Summa contra gentiles, I, 14.
