Damascus delegation visits Armenia

On May 17, a delegation of  Primates and Bishops of the Christian Churches of Damascus arrived in Armenia  at the invitation of Catholicosate of All Armenians in Etchmiadzin. The delegation was led by His Grace Bishop Armash Nalbandian, Primate of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church in Damascus. The members of the delegation are the Primates of the Armenian Catholic, Syrian Orthodox, Greek Orthodox, Maronite Catholic, Syrian Catholic, and Melkite Greek Catholic Churches. His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians received and welcomed them.


The Syriac Orthodox delegation included  Mor Silwanos Petrus (Metropolitans of Homs),  Mor Philoxenos Mathias (Director of St. Ephraim's Patriarchal Seminary) and Mor Dionysius Yuhanon (Director of Patriarchal Office & Headquarters).

It seems there are videos of the event, but my computer won't play them.  Also, the videos seemed to not make it onto Etchmiadzin's youtube channel.

Is there a list of the names that corresponds with the first picture?  I was looking for His Beatitude, IGNATIUS IV but I don't think I saw him since the article listed that the hierarchs of the Greek Orthodox would be there.  I assume that meant the Patriarchate of Antioch which is still called "Greek Orthodox."

"Greek Orthodox" probably does mean the EO Antiochian Church.  Below is another picture of the delegation with HH Karekin, at an ordination that took place on May 23:

No, but given the frailty of this health, I'm not suprised. It wouldn't be a slight: relations between the Armenians and Arabs in Syria are excellent. The Armenians have been long able to publish and post in Armenian (Syrian law forbids any language but Arabic).

From the Greek Orthodox/Eastern Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch, I recognize the three Patriarchal vicars - Bishop Ghattas Hazim (the first one from the extreme left), Bishop Moussa Khoury (the one behind the Armenian Catholicos) and Bishop Luka Khoury (next to the Catholicos).

From the Greek Catholic/Melkite Catholic Patriarchate of Antioch, I recognize the Melkite Patriarchal vicar Bishop Joseph Absi (the one between Bishop Luka and an Armenian hierarch).
