St. Michael, defend us in the midst of battle.

« on: January 25, 2004, 06:37:00 PM »

Just said goodbye  :'(  to my favorite priest in our isolated area. He's leaving us to be the new pastor of the St Anthony of Padua parish in Novato, CA.

Fr Dan's views challenged many of my opinions, and I "suffered" through many small converisons of heart hearing his earnest and - often appropriately - angry sermons.

May he continue to challenge all who hear his words to "keep your eyes always on Christ."

May God be with him in his ministry, and with you as you miss him.

May Fr. Daniel be blessed as he follows the path made for him by the Lord.

Grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway, the good fortune to run into the ones I do, and the eyesight to tell the difference.
