OK, so hear it is, I lost my job about two weeks ago; the company did a mass lay-off and of course I was one effected. I only had this job for a little over a month so I get no severance pay. Now I am living off my tax return (which was quite substantial) and what I get every month from the National Guard (not much). To make matters worse, my insurance through the military runs out this month (I got six months free after returning from Iraq) and I have no form of income to start making payments on insurance (Tricare is not the greatest, but hey, it works).
I have recently applied for a job with Clean Harbors to help clean up the oil spill in the Gulf, but as I have no OSHA training, i do not even know if I will get that job. I am also trying to do what odd jobs for the Guard that I can to help supplement what I got from my tax return, but I am afraid that it is not enough.
Not to mention that I also have to support my brother while he is staying with my wife and I (just kidding, Mike, you really are no burden at all and I appreciate your help, both spiritual and physical
)
